best part of trying for jumin bad end 2: protective mother zen ✧° (ง✿ಠ_ಠ)ง
tag yourself i’m “Omg this lady T_T “
y’all say “Seven loves mc in all of the routes” which is true so don’t get me wrong, but you’re also forgetting about Jumin, the other fucking important character included in the deep story mode, who puts mc before himself in every route. Let’s keep in mind that the two characters in deep story are the two loneliest and most compassionate people in the game, who are also extremely lonely and vulnerable in their moments of weakness. These are some of the things I’ve noticed whilst playing the game. Note: I have played all of the routes with good endings and watched walkthroughs of the good and bad endings. The information below is all absolutely true from what I’ve experienced.
In no particular order, Jumin does/has done:
Encourages her to meet Zen and helps her to see him so she can be happy, despite his own assistant being against it
Supports her relationship with Yoosung
Calls her pure/creative/divine/special in the casual chats
Backs off and doesn’t answer phone calls after C&R hours in other routes, whereas in days 1-4 he always picks up
Understands her when she tells him to leave Jaehee alone and stop working her so hard, he listens to her and tries to be better to Jaehee
Checks up on her in Seven’s canon route; ringing her to make sure she’s okay and safe
Always tells her to look after her health and eat well
Asks her questions about her future and faiths and beliefs so he can ensure she is thinking carefully about herself whilst organizing the party
In Zen’s route he tells her to go and look after Zen bc it’ll make him happy, mc can say she wants to go and he says “now that I know how you feel that’s all I have to say” almost as if he’s saying goodbye to his hopes of having her in his life
Wants Zen to recover so the RFA including mc stops worrying
Mc tells him she has a date with Zen and he just says “congrats” whilst the others are excited for them
Jumin fully supports mc being with the other 4 members because it ensures her happiness.
He just wants her to be happy. it’s clearer in his route that he wants to protect her 24/7
And last but not least: In Seven’s route, as soon as Jumin hears that mc is in danger about the bomb being in the apartment, he calls her straight after telling her he’s on his way home back from the middle east and cancels all meetings just for her sake. He worries so god damn much about mc’s safety that he cancels everything and rushes to protect her.
tl;dr Jumin puts mc first in every route because he wants her to be happy even if the happiness is caused by someone that isn’t himself. In Seven’s canon route, he holds something special about her in his heart. It’s up to the player how they interpret it, but these are crucial parts of the game that seriously cannot be ignored.
HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!! NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE… Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911. Hello! A lot of you have been asking me where and how I’ve learn multiple languages and well, after a few hours of digging through my browser history and bookmarks, I was able to collect all of these resources. I have personally used all of these, so I can assure you they are useful! If there is something wrong with a website or a link, please let me know. Also, if you have any questions or if you want a learning buddy, my ask box is open. (I speak English and Spanish. I’m learning Korean, German, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, and Esperanto)
Note: Learning a new language requires a lot of dedication, more than you actually think! Especially if you’re learning multiple languages at the same time. It isn’t impossible, but it will take time. And by time I mean months and/or years! So please, be patient. Take your time. Don’t rush. Keep in mind that you will mess up and that’s okay. Practice as much as you can. Practice out loud. Talk to yourself if you can. It doesn’t matter if people think you’re crazy. They won’t be thinking the same when you become a polyglot, so don’t mind them. This is for you and your future.

Recommendations
Check out youtube. Seriously, there should be a masterpost just for youtube resources.
Look at your public library or university library. I have found all my resources at my library.
Also, I know this might sound crazy to others, but for my fellow anxiety people, there is no judge from booksellers/librarians when you check out a bunch of language books. Usually I get people who don’t care or people who are really supportive and interested.
Don’t know where to start for self-studying? Look up syllabi from universities. They will outline each unit, which will help you structure your self-study schedule.
If you are going to use kdrama or kpop for language learning, make sure you are doing more than just listening and watching. I have seen a collection of posts of people who are frustrated because they haven’t absorbed the language just by listening to music. Try to learn lyrics. Break down grammar. Write down quotes.
**I am in no way an authority on learning Korean. I don’t guarantee that all of these links still work/ are 100% accurate. I have just used them when I have encountered problems. My recommendations are also not a complete self-study guide. They are just things I learned from experience.
Japanese Resources
I’ve been silent on here for a while now. Sorry! I’m about 6 weeks into this beast and between work (I’m a doctor) and studying Japanese and trying to be a normal human being with friends and a family life’s a little bit crazy. But it’s all good! There will be more posts soon.
In the meantime, I wanted to share the resources I’ve been using to learn Japanese. I’m trying to get the most value out of my time, so I did a good deal of researching beforehand. I wanted to use the fewest number of resources for maximum results, and here is what I use:
WaniKani: I’ve already mentioned this and raved about it. This might be the best possible way to learn most of the kanji you will ever need plus a few thousand vocabulary in the meantime. It’s based on SRS (Spaced Repetition Software), which is basically designed to hammer information into your long term memory and have you also be able to recall it, which is kind of the point.
KaniWani: WaniKani is great for recognizing kanji and words, but for the other way around—needing to pull the Japanese word out of your butt—it’s about useless. That’s where KaniWani has been coming in, which is just WaniKani in reverse (as the name implies). This way I am drilling the vocabulary I am already learning from WaniKani, but in an English to Japanese way instead of the other way around.
Genki: Kanji and vocabulary are great, but pretty useless if you can’t construct even basic sentences. Genki is one of the best textbooks out there, and I chose it out of the others strictly based on its reputation. There is no getting around grammar. It’s the skeleton of any language.
Memrise: Another SRS system, this one has user content to help learn basically anything you can think of. I’m using it to memorize the vocabulary from Genki.
EtoEto: This is another service from the people who make WaniKani. It’s not out yet except for alpha testing, so it’s pretty brand-spanking new. I’m looking forward to trying it out and seeing what it’s like. If it has any of the quality and efficiency of WaniKani, I’m totally adding this to my arsenal.
There you have it. Four, potentially five, resources that have become my arsenal. This combination may not work for everyone, but I designed it to cover the most ground while expending the least energy. Once I have a little more under my belt, you can guarantee that language partners will be added to that list and dominate in importance. After all, what good is learning Japanese if you can’t speak it?

[translation] Character Interview Vol.7 HARUKA X MAKOTO
Scanned by sunyshore
- We are honored to have Nanase Haruka and Tachibana Makoto with us today.
Haruka + Makoto: Thank you for having us.
- Well then, first thing first, please tell us how you met each other.
Makoto: Well… Haru and I are childhood friends, and our homes are really close to each other, so it’s like we’ve been together since the very beginning.
Haruka: I can’t remember something that long ago.
Makoto: But if you must know, I think our first encounter was when we were 0 years old. We have photos from that time in our family albums.
Haruka: …like I’d remember.
Makoto: That’s true lol.
