On any other day, Taemin would have given Seunghoon a hard time for his… discomfort, in calling to order food; he’s never had a problem with it, so he didn’t quite understand where the feeling came from, but tonight, he feels more relaxed, more laid back than usual. He didn’t mind Seunghoon’s peculiarity of calling to order food.

This feels really nice, Taemin thinks, to hang out with Seunghoon hyung again. It’d been far too long in his mind; he’s spent a lot of time working, with SHINee’s tour in Japan, only coming back shortly before he’d go back for their concert in Tokyo.

“What should we get?” He asks, quickly navigating his phone’s browser to the Kyochon website to check out all their options, because he wasn’t sure exactly what he wanted yet. “Should we order a side? The chicken salad looks good, I might order it another time…” Taemin’s voice is at a mumble by the end of it; he perks up, though. “Oh, man, I should have looked at the event specials first, there’s a lot of good deals. Here, you take a look.” Tossing his phone over carelessly, he watches Seunghoon, waiting for any opinions on what to get, because he wasn’t super picky. Chicken is chicken, after all, and who is Taemin to complain about chicken?

It’s while his phone was out of his possession that he starts thinking back on the last concerts, and it comes to mind that he’d like to hear the older’s opinion on it. He sits more upright, leaning toward the other as some subconscious action to be closer as he played with the folds in his own shirt absentmindedly. “Oh, oh, Hoon. I’ve been really considering making an Instagram lately. I don’t know if I care for the upkeep of an account… but I think it’d be nice to have, don’t you? I kind of promised a long time ago I’d make one, and I never did.”

He did not want to seem as if he knew the whole menu like the back of his hand. Even though truthfully he more than likely did. His slightly photography memory as well as the fact he’d eaten her so many times during his time in Seoul. However he takes taemin’s phone and scrolls through it leisurely. He somehow finds the concept that the menu is written in korean, japanese, and english a little bit funny. An awkward laugh pours from his lungs as he stifles pronouncing the words “ A whole Chicken “ in english, for some reason the words strike him as funny.  He hums under his breath as he scrolls through the website after that.  “ Hmm, what about um.. 교존후라이드? or we could get 교촌살살치킨? .. or both. . . and a side of 감자조림, maybe 뽀떼또? and some 소주. . . “ he lists of quite a large amount of food and begins to bite his top lip into his mouth as he puts of a terrifying grin. He’s basically offering to spoil the other with food because of the fact they’d been away from one another for such an extended period. Plus both of them had quite large appetites.  He hands the phone back over to the other as he waits for him to debate upon whether or not he actually wants all that food. SeungHoon surely does want all of that food. He’d probably scarf down half of it without even taking a second thought. He’d know the next morning when his face was bloated that he’d have to work extra hard at 태권도. He perks up at the mention of an Instagram account and laughs in the slightest. “ I understand, I post on mine constantly. . . But I have a lot of free time, y’know. “ He laughs slightly under his breath and tilts his head, he situates himself in his seat as well. “ Do you want to get an instagram, or do you think it wouldn’t be worth it? My sisters check mine a lot to see what I’m up too, my Mom too. “  

“The original?” she repeated pretending as if this was new information that led her to contemplate her decision of favoritism. “Truly, he’s won my heart though. I guess even though you did it first, I think he did it better,” she teased breaking into a smile after she said it. “And that is okay Seunghoon. I know how that goes, being I was an idol and before that a trainee up until recently,” she stated sighing at her dramatic life change though she was happier with it. “I’m glad we have gotten the case to meet. How are you, hun?” Alyssa inquired her smile still present.

' Yeah! the original, I was born first. I’m older, so I’m the original. ‘ his disposition doesn’t alter in the slightest as she begins to speak of Seung Yoon with such high praise. He’s more used to this than anyone would ever really understand, too. Being Seung Yoon was allowed to debut far before the group as a whole, and was given so many opportunities to shine. Part of him is jealous, but he know’s its an unfair jealousy that he holds against someone who is with him for the long haul. ‘Uhuh, Uhuh, won your heart, he’s a seagull, ya-da-ya-da. ‘ He teases back, knowing damn well if Seung Yoon had heard him he’d be pinched until he squeals. Regardless he takes the risk and allows himself to be a bit of a brat. ‘ Of course, the pleasure is all mine! well. I mean we can share it . . . I guess. I never thought about how weird of a phrase that was until just this moment in time. . . ‘ He patters off, brows pushing together as his eyes divert in a different direction from hers. His head shakes for the brief second before he actually looks back up at her with a allocated smile. ‘I’m well, of course. Training hard these days in preparation for our comeback which seems to be a never ending line of pushed back dates. I apologize to give you such a blunt answer. ‘ A frown is replaced on his lips. He attempts to clear his throat while his lips remain closed and nods a little bit. ‘ How about you, how are you ? miss.. ? ‘

   A night on the town with one of his friends usually starts out the same every single time. They begin buy getting a really good meal (by which I mean more than his common wolfing down of common household snacks to keep himself in shape and underweight). Then it’s off to a club where he gets to hang out at small round tables in dimly lit rooms-- somehow always with a faint tint of red or purple filtering out all the normal colors. Seung Hoon is quite a light weight and his odd behavior is altered even further upon the influence of alcohol; however arguably it could also be that he let’s himself unwind.   He wasn’t sitting properly in his seat and he was fidgeting like a reckless child. He had practically knocked over the drinks they had ordered and he was going on and on about something fairly depressing. Something about how he’s trying to keep himself all together for his group and put on a strong face but how it kills him to see that everyone else seemingly struggles with it. He’s whining something about how TaeHyun (but, he doesn’t say his name directly) has left them and no one even talks about it. They just ignore it, like everyone always does. It drives him crazy. The woman who stood before (in a sense, she was more so-- adjacent to his table) him appeared to be a novice; to some degree at least. He’d never met her before- he’d never seen her before. So her actions slightly caught him off guard seeing as how no one really.. spoke like that to people they’d never previously met. He wonder if he’d wronged her at some point in his life? did they go to school together?  a previous life maybe he was her demise (or vise versa). Perhaps it’s only rational to think about what he was doing before the woman he’d never seen before decided to so boldly call him stupid. her tone was so tetchy and callous. Almost as if she’d witnessed him behaving like this on several occasions.

                                            internal 독백.                                 What an odd circumstance; SeungHoon was questioned by a friend of his if he’d like to attend a double date with one of his girlfriend’s friends. He thinks her name is Chami, however he may later inquire a more solid answer from her. Seeing as how he’s not 100% positive what his friend said her name was. He was quite tetchy when it came to double-dating. Especially being set up with someone, however it seemed that his friend really wanted to impress his girlfriend and wanted someone to tag along-- as a sort of wingman, or buffer.
