my favorite always sunny episodes are ones where they're literally just trying to do some normal and fun outing but are so dysfunctional they can't do it... like taking a road trip to the grand canyon and not even being able to leave philly, buying a boat, going to a pool, going to the beach, going to a waterpark, going on a cruise ship, ski trip, etc... they are literally trying to do normal fun things no schemes no plots even though it of course always descends into that. idk if you look past all the insanity i think it's so charming that they literally just want to hang out and do something fun with each other
