There honestly doesn't feel like a lot of variety in quality plastic backed dips rn? And a lot of the newcomers in the market (e.g. that one dip with the bunny catching butterflies on it, forget the name) look to have AI designs on them 🥲 but this is what we agree on:

Northshore Megamaxes have great bang for your buck, the best tapes, and really good capacity.

LNGU Little Melodies are weird bc they're plastic back with hook and loop strips, but that's a good thing for wiggle worms who need their tapes adjusted! They also have the thin line wetness indicator which is 🥹

Forsites are available where you can get any medical diapers and i think they're a fun midrange option for capacity! If i had my way, I'd always have some in my stash just for lighter wearin/DL nights.

Bambinos are still here, somehow, and still producing good dips, somehow! I think nostalgia is a contributing factor here, but they haven't gone the road of being as thick and high capacity as possible, which I respect. Good sizing and great crinkle.

For cloth backed, you have more options!

LNGU Honey Tales/Big Ears are hard to get but they might be the cutest things I've ever seen; haven't tried them myself, but I hear great quality things across the board.

Lil Comforts Teddy Bums/Lacy Loves are the closest thing to a luxury diaper on the market imo. They wick moisture better than any other cloth back dip, have great fit and capacity, and are SOOOO cute. The worst thing about either that i can say is that the fade when wet hearts on the Lacy Loves don't work too well, but i assume that'll be fixed in later print runs.

Kiddo Premium Overnights are the star of that brand imo. I have such a soft spot for them bc of the theming and coloring, but the fit and tapes are excellent. I think this also extends to the Fluffy Flies but I'm a biased bunny here 🐇

I truly do not like lil kings, especially for the money, their tapes feel BAD and their cloth feels thin and low quality, but i might be skewered for that on this site

And that's kinda it? I'm not a fan of Rearz, LFB, and Tykeables designs (and business practices), ABU is There as a longtime brand but they have very polarizing designs (some of us are not furries) and i feel their quality has gone down while their prices have gone up, Land of Genie refuses to make XL sized dips so I haven't tried them, and the rest have Bad Vibes.

The plastic back Kiddos Overnights are probably my new favorites. I'm such a super soaker but I haven't managed to leak once, ignoring the fact that i always use boosters 🫣. The colors are soooo vibrant and lovely, they have really nice tapes that you can adjust a couple times, and their sizing is great!! 10/10 recommend 🙂‍↕️

LNGU released plain colored plastic backs!!! They're EXTREMELY thick and absorbent and the colors are absolutely lovely, very high on my list to try per a friend's recommendation :)

We have a new contender in Bums??? Sounds like they're trying to tackle the extreme nighttime usage market, which is a bit clogged, but they also have an actual plain white exterior which is somehow becoming harder and harder to find. Everyone has been singing their praises and I'm taking notes!
