Weed, Whites & Wine

Funny how since I was about 27, I've had a gut feeling that I couldn't have kids. Had Drew and I tried more than a hot minute, I think we would've found out the hard way. He didn't want us to go through what my sister and brother-in-law had, and he was right to insist we not try further.

Hospitals suck. They didn't give me any food till 4am & forced me to take IV painkillers, which made me sick. (Duh.) The leg cuffs were cool, until I ended up stuck in them for six hours & the pump bothered my roommate, who kept me awake most of the night with her passive-aggressive moaning & phone usage.

But Drew got me through & has been just amazing since i've been home. DC gets a little confused when i'm hurting and start groaning. I just want to drive again, like yesterday.

My body FUBARed up & made me have one more period during Mittelschmerz. Still unsure if a fibroid triggered it, 'cause it was not normal. I still hurt.

Surgery Thursday. I do not want to stay the night at NRGH, especially if they force me into maternity, but I have no choice. Alas, get through it & go home.

I'm sure if I say anything, i'll get "haven't you see Rosie's posts?" No, 'cause the bitch unfriended me when she and Mom had that spat. Plus, since she's married to Jerry (Dad's high school best friend) and talks shit about his daughters--i grew up with the youngest two & my sisters grew up with the oldest three--i would've unfriended her myself.

My hunch is--and I hate thinking like this, but they've done this shit before--they'll start talking about it once they've cleaned out the house. My aunt had some heirlooms and nice stuff that i'm sure are already gone. I'd only want any negatives.

I wonder if Jef's sisters have been notified. (Katie will likely find out, if a death notice is posted online, but someone would have to reach out to Jolee in Arizona.) I doubt they were even told when Uncle Joe died. I'll always wonder if he ever knew he had a great-granddaughter.
