Not sure how old this message is since I was on hiatus but nonetheless I wish you had sent this off anon so I could ask you how so? I disliked my style for a bit as well but currently I’m getting it back to a point that I’m happy with it. I realize that it was in a gross place for awhile because I was under a lot of pressure and was trying to please others rather than myself, but I’m lucky that I’ve had a lot of support as I’ve grown as an artist despite that.

I am completely self-taught (other than the design principles and things I am learning at my college)! I have been drawing for about 5 years, doing a lot of experimenting with style and color, watching other artists who inspire me and seeing how they do things, and taking inspiration from fashion and music! I draw almost daily as long as I am able to and I’ve practiced things I struggle with (like hands) more and more until I got them to a place where I liked them!

Oooh yeah I am pretty often, and then I'm also not if that makes sense like...I get really proud when I finish something big but at the same time I get a bit OCD over my art and I have a bad habit of picking out little tiny flaws in it |D
