earlier this week i watched f1: the movie (2025 film about formula one starring brad pitt) which was very bad and had bad vibes and it pissed me off in so many ways. and then tonight i watched rush (2013 film about formula one starring chris hemsworth and daniel brühl) and now i'm even more pissed off at f1: the movie for being so bad when it could have been pretty good like rush. like i don't know much about f1 but even i know that a good f1 movie should have at least one inexplicable homoerotic relationship between drivers and as few usamericans as possible. really bold of f1: the movie to call itself f1: the movie when it did neither of these things thus negating the entire point of an f1 movie. AND it made me watch brad pitt playing the most annoying man on earth for 2.5 hours of my one wild and precious life. rush just made me want to read 1970s formula one rpf so it was clearly a far superior film
