Finally a name! Permuta is an OC Akuma I created for a fic for one of the @mlwritersguildâs events.
Her name is Laura Baker and sheâs a 20-something year old who works as a journalist for the news in Paris. She is mostly stuck behind a desk but has had the fortune of running into Ladybug and Chat Noir from time to time. Sheâs not very active online, but she became a big fan of the Ladyblog after Alya CĂŠsaire became a small celebrity in Paris. She moved out of her parentsâ house just outside the city to study journalism in the heart of Paris. Her goal is to become the news anchor for the prime time news programs on tv.
Laura is a critical thinker, a realist, and rather reads the news than watch a movie. Sarcasm might be her middle name and she has a bit of trouble holding onto acquaintances. Hearty snacks are her favorite and she loves a good game of squash. When sheâs not writing the texts for the smaller news programs, sheâs reading old novels in coffee shops and bakeries.
Permutaâs power is body-swapping other people. She can only swap two people at a time using her gun. The first person hit will stop whatever theyâre doing and stand, and when the second person is hit, theyâll both black out for a second and wake up in the otherâs body. The gun is also the akumatized object, a pen she uses for all her notebooks and other things.
Passive powers of hers are increased stamina, power, and mobility. She can also float small distances and generally floats a feet or two of the ground go become taller than her opponent.
