Like first the stars have to align for everyone to actually agree to leaving their home for several days and spending it together. (Seriously, we already struggle to meet up for lunch or dinner. Adult friendships are just eternal rain checks)

Then you have to get annual leave approved from work, which often involves shuffling dates and lots of compromising to match it up. THEN you have to be super diplomatic and crafty when someone in the group wants to invite their partner or “other” friends but majority don’t want that at all (because the inevitable drama and spoiled dynamics is not worth it)

THEN, without fail, someone will go radio silence when it comes time to actually booking flights and hotels (and usually pull out last second)

I don’t care about the song lyrics okay. I want to be able to see the actors’ faces without a line of words blocking their expressions during emotional moments.
