Buddie-Chenford

Buddie is so close to being canon that I'm genuinely tweaking, it's not even funny.

They really did hit gold with the OG 911, didn't they? They got some great and silly and heart wrenching stories, they wrote some incredibly engaging characters and then they've got an incredible cast who all seem to love each other. They got freaking Angela Bassett spearheading the show. They were cancelled by stinky Fox but immediately got picked up by ABC and somehow got bigger and better. They can make near-perfect episodes in their eighth season. This show is a treat and the fact that network television like this exists today is something I'm so thankful for.

hold up, we never saw eddie’s house this episode. every moment with buck, eddie, and chris (any combo of the three) was station, poker, calls, and BUCKS APARTMENT!!! like even making cookies for chris to bring to school, doing homework, and dinner all in bucks home.

I would like to add onto this and say that we’ve never really seen bucks apartment feel like a home, it’s always Eddie’s place that Buck seems the most home at yet we are now starting to see that even bucks loft can feel like a home with the right people (*ahem* Eddie and Chris) in it.

I feel like 6x11 was centered a lot about the concept of blood/chosen family (as in chosen parents, siblings and kids) which is maybe why they didn’t touch Eddie, because Buck doesn’t see him as a brother but as a potential partn-
