A veterinary clinic dedicated solely to rescue animals! For these little ones without owners, a lack of funds is nothing short of a death sentence. I am beyond grateful for this hospital. Our Bucky must have met Alpine on the streets too, right? I'm so thankful to the people who help make these beautiful connections possible. 🐾❤️

INKTOBER2019 CONTINUES…sorta. No ink, and now with no October! 

I did see a yellow tree today!  But its raining forever, so I’m still sitting inside cleaning up and posting sketches I did last month during the Inaugural Sinus Infection. Also still doing pieces heavily influenced by easyforpauline’s videophones series, which is probably the biggest single impetus for my gradually increasing ease with digital painting, esp of figures. This piece feels like kindof a turning point, its exactly what I wanted. I think I thought that going digital meant Changing All Thee Things but instead I’ve just wound up translating what I was already doing but with additional fun fillips that aren’t possible on paper, and with WAY. LESS. STRESS! BC LAYERS! I’m having such a good time! I’m gonna go do some more! (Also I’m working on a 4 hour podfic - November is very fannishly productive for me, work is slow and the weather is, as mentioned, Terrible.

In case anybody is interested in technique things, this entire piece was done with one (1) red and one (1) orange, bc limited palettes are my jam. Sometimes I use as many as THREE WHOLE COLORS but only on like, holidays.  Also one brush, which is Krita’s 4B pencil. I can post a couple process pics if anyone wants inside the seekritz.
