Those of you who know me know that this demon pig is my best friend and long time partner in crime. He has recently been experiencing what I believe to be severe nerve pain due to bad discs in his neck. We are not sure what specifically is the problem but he is in rough shape and it is breaking my heart. This post is not to seek sympathy but rather to celebrate this Magic Clown. Halloween painting 2017. I was inspired by watching a bunch of time lapse painting by some great artists, in particular @chetzar, and how they bring out such amazing detail with just wet paint and a brush. I am so used to drawing out my images in such detail before ever touching it with a brush and paint, so this was a tough experiment. I used a photograph and sketched everything out in wet paint. Tough, but good practice.
