The pattern on this guy makes it a bit of a clusterfuck. Happy with it though, and it definitely communicates "Lionfish". MerLiomon Level: Champion/Adult Type: Tropical Fish Attribute: Virus Field: Deep Savers Vicious digimon that patrol the shallows of the net ocean, specialised to hunt other aquatic digimon. Their name comes from their fierce disposition, though they aren't actually related to other Leomon species. With Tox Trident they jab at foes and poison them with the teeth of their harpoon, or fire a torrent of poison from it to toxify the waters around them. By rattling their fins they flaunt their venomous spines with their Scorpion Dance; the slightest prick paralysing their target and leaving them helpless, even stopping the hearts of weaker digimon. Possible Rookie: Swimmon, Elecmon, Gizamon, Tinkermon Possible Ultimate: Mermaimon, Splashmon, WaruSeadramon, MarinDevimon

As the kawaii-ification of Hanivermon took place, I figured focusing in on the subtle heart motif could give me a fun little cupid. MerCupidmon Level: Rookie/Child Type: Aquatic/Fairy Attribute: Data Field: Deep Savers A subspecies of Hanivermon that whilst still a prankster, is more good natured overall. It i drawn to conflict and will attempt to broker peace with it's Sprinkle Putti technique, an erratic move with varying effects that include infatuation, dizziness and calmness. Although it still relies heavily on it's draining technique, Moisture Vamp, to subdue foes, it is more inclined to use the water for healing allies (Tincture Shot) or making amends once a battle is over. Possible In-training: Cupimon, Nyaromon, Pukamon, Chapmon Possible Champion: Darcmon, Ranamon, Mantaraymon, Fairimon

Hanivermon Level: Rookie/Child Type: Aquatic/Fairy Attribute: Data Field: Deep Savers A mischievous digimon that loves to laugh and play tricks. Although never far from water, they prefer to play on land and will retreat into the sea if their pranks get them into trouble. Hanivermon is capable of draining all the moisture from a foe with Moisture Vamp, a technique that can leave it's target slow, weak and unable to think. Once it has drained a foe it can fire off the excess water in a powerful torrent (Turbulent Shot). Sprinkle Pixie splashes foes with a special water with a number of effects including confusion, stupefaction, power drain or even healing. The reliability of this ability is limited as it doesn't seem able to choose which effect comes into play. Possible Champion: Mantaraymon, Petermon, Ranamon, Vilemon
