The Entity begins to Fall, and Fall, and Fall...ever deeper. All memory of It slowly dissipates, and what was once a Player begins to  D R O W N  once more. It loses all sense of Self. All sense of Existence. All Sense. No memory remains of It, no history. Those who would have known It, slowly begin to Forget.

“...Yeah. It really does feel that way, doesn’t it? The longer you’re around, the faster time seems to pass by.” They seem to have a hard time focusing on their surroundings, fingers drumming a beat against their forearms. Thunk, thunk-thunk-thunk, thunk-thunk, thunk, thunk-thunk-thunk, thunk-thunk... They shake their head, hood hiding their expression. The shadows seem darker inside their hood, and the dimmest flickers of gold can be seen, two pinpricks in the inky darkness. When they speak next, their voice carries a weariness that is often hidden from the rest of the multiverse. “Anyway...’m sure you have more important things t’ do than catch up with this old Player.” They’re worried about the lack of colour, but they trust him to know what he’s doing.

Ludio laughs, bells ringing hollow. The whispers grow louder, the chains grow tighter. “That’s fair, Fleur.” You’re right to be cautious...I’m dangerous to those close to me. “By the way, I’ve been thinking...it feels like too long since we’ve spoken.” I wish I could apologize for disappearing, I wish I could offer an explanation. But that’s in the past.

[ *A guest approaches. A garbled voice echoes forth from their form, resonating deep within you. ]

In Honor Of Spooky Season...

We (that is, Ludio and the Narrator) have decided to open wide the doors of the original timeline. It’s a bit...different, from your average timeline. But feel free to visit, via Discord.

There’s also a small matter that I need to talk about...so I hope nyall will lend your ears. I know we just came back from an unannounced hiatus, and it’s not that right to leave again, but...well. We’ll be MIA (likely from both Tumblr and Discord, but who knows) due to the release of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. Feel free to hit us up on Discord, if you want. Chances are we might see it. The Lonely is one of the fourteen main Entities. It is a manifestation of the fear of isolation, of being completely cut off and alone, the fear of being disconnected. The Lonely is likely to prey on those who are already isolated. Those who live an independent or private life with no opportunities for social stimulation are easy targets. Symbols of The Lonely: a cry for help that receives no reply, running helplessly though an empty field, a cold, dark room in which no one enters nor exits, an echo that seems to never end, a door that has rusted shut, a city whose power has shut off, taking a bus ride at midnight.
