it's funny how we used to do E3 because it was an investor showcase and it was cheap and convenient to have a single event for all those announcements, and then Nintendo basically dropped out by adopting Directs instead, and everybody else followed suit. but now every company still does their big livestream events around the same time each year, because that's still the best time for investors. we just have to watch more different livestreams.
