I Will Break Your Heart

— Vil’s uniform personal story. Cater praises Vil’s beauty (even though he just wanted a picture) and also (bad localization aside) tells him he’d like to date him.

— Cater’s lab personal story. Those two and Lilia seem to get along in class. Cater and Lilia are already friends from their club, why can’t Vil be too? This is pretty much when I started liking them as friends.

— Leona’s fairy gala personal story. Vil asks Cater (and Rook) for help with him.

— First Halloween. I don’t remember much but I do know there’s a part where they arrive together to meet Trey and Rook.

— Second Halloween. When they’re possessed by ghosts, they both appear together.

— Cater’s union bday personal story. He says he’d like to have Vil as his older brother (though he’s older) because he thinks he won’t overstep boundaries about his personal life, that he’s independent enough, but that he can also learn a lot about him (and go shopping together.)

— Vil’s union bday voice lines. Cater gives Vil an aromatic oil that reminds him of his hometown.

I guess putting it this way it feels more like Cater is going after Vil(‘s popularity) but idc, for me they’re like (male) gal pals.

+ in 2023:

— New Years Event. They both participated although they didn’t interact much.

— Rerun of Hot Sands event. Although he doesn’t appear in the main story, in his voice lines, Vil mentions that Cater showed him pictures of his trip.

— They (together with Trey, Rook, and later Leona) talk about what they are going to do for their 4th year together.
