barbara saying she wants lee to be her trauma counselor 👀 look I know realistically its not gonna happen because something will come up or it's just gonna be a plot device to try and drive a wedge between lee and jim but 👀 this goes back to me thinking about lee x barbara

so oswald came to the hospital to kill falcone right? he gloated too long, jim arrived, cuffed him and butch to the heater well maroni's men are arriving, jim has been taking his sweet time figuring out how to get falcone out oswald keeps interrupting him and then he says that technically jim arrested them so they're in his custody. and also jim owes him a favour and somehow it works

there's a point to be made somewhere in here that a lot of the main characters have some kind of parental issues that are a continuous source of problems for them

oswald has his mommy issues (existing mother at this point still but also with what led him to fish), missing father figure

jim has his daddy issues (dad died early, who knows where his mother is)

bruce has his daddy issues

barbara has parental issues

kicking my legs giggling

fish: "I'm relaxed" maroni: "I dont think you are babes" and she looks so pissed, barely contained rage

and oswald just watching the show unfold

I do fucking hate how when jim arrives at barbaras flat after lee has just beat her unconscious lee just tearfully goes "she just went crazy" and immediately leans into jim's arms like ?? she's clearly experienceing some intense mental health break the fuck are you saying

also when Ed has his breakdown thing going on I'm very charmed by the slightly crowded bottom teeth that he has, such a fun little detail

#I read some fics this morning set in the time he's going from dishwasher to working directly under maroni #and some of them were really cool and interesting in how they portrayed oswald purposefully making himself appear frail and small and shy #to get maroni to trust him #<prev if you're comfortable with and would like to… i'm always looking for more fics to read O.O #it's ok if you don't want to!

okay here we go then :D they have different amounts of focusing on oswald's scheming vs maroni's manipulation

Don’t they know that murder is illegal? You just know there are a bunch of homicidal maniacs out there who love to read those stories. They write them, too, in between killing people. 

i feel like the problem with this question is best illustrated by a conversation i had with a friend a while back, where i said something like, "i feel very safe with you because you don't do subtle hints and you are always very straight-up with me about what you are thinking and feeling."

ed being like "okey doke, no body no crime, no body no crime" while making cute hand gestures xD

(part of jim and lees convo after he killed the ogre) lee: "your sense of mission. thats part of what I love about you" jim: "I thought it was my devastating good looks" (awkward pause) "that's a joke" lee: (laughs briefly, smile fading quickly)

on a happier note the big attacks by maroni on falcone's businesses and then the ep ending with oswald laughing to himself is so powerful and I really like it
