For anyone who doesn’t want to read, the Tl;dr is that good and bad life events have rendered me unable to find motivation for this AU as of now!

Like, I had Verizon, lost my phone, and then was so pleasantly surprised to see all my stuff backed up to Verizon Cloud. Just as an example period of any phone's secret backup 🙂

Well it was! But sadly I was locked out of my ICloud account and I have no way of proving my identity yet! And also I don’t know how much of it would be backed up

Now that I’ve posted a new comic, I need to dampen the mood a significant amount. About four months back, or about a week after I posted the new reference sheet, I dropped my phone down the stairs. Now this is important because my phone is where I did all my drawings, and when it dropped it didn’t turn back on, it died for real. For months after I had nothing but MSPaint to draw on, and I was not drawing a comic in MSPaint.

I cannot back up any of the art I lost, and a lot of it was key things for this AU, a lot of which I hadn’t posted for spoiler reasons. This AU lost about 65% key things to the AU which I am unable to get back.

This AU will continue, but this bump was, relatively big and hard to overcome. I now have a new thing to draw on (thus the new comic page) but, maybe just a little slower than expected due to this massive set back.

But for now, the AU is back and in full swing, so continue to enjoy and thank you for sticking with me!

Hey gang! Sadly we have had to push the hiatus to an “indefinite” status, because of a few reasons:

My motivation for this AU, along with the rest of my AUs, has dropped significantly. If this was the only problem, I could quite luckily get through it, but...

My physical health is in a decline. I am critically underweight, and because of this the doctors want to admit me to hospital.

I have acquired (hopefully temporary) nerve damage in my dominant hand, which makes drawing incredibly, incredibly difficult. If it continues on, I’ll go and see a doctor to see what they believe is going to happen with that

My mental health has been less than stellar, and I can’t really enjoy my AU like I used to. It’s just not fun for me anymore, as much as it pains me to say. I know it’s probably just my depression kicking in but I can’t seem to enjoy a lot of things anymore.

I’m sorry for this, and I promise I will try to come back when I can. When I come back, the blog might get a hard reset, since there’s a lot about this AU I want to tweak or change.

Because apparently no one on tumblr knows how to act like normal humans, I need to take an elongated hiatus from drawing the comic so I don’t put unnecessary stress on myself!

It sucks, honestly, that people on tumblr seem to dislike me to the point of block evading to send me 7 paragraphs of hatred in my messages — I’m still legally a minor and I’m half sure most of the people doing it are adults, it’s sad

Until all of this calms down, I can’t continue the comic without fear of them coming to this blog to try and message me as well — so while I still might post drawings, I can’t promise that the comic will be back for early February
