Loki was always scared of thunder, even when he was a little boy. Once he found out his brother could control it, he stuck to him like glue the moment he heard rain drop onto the roof.

"Brother..?" Loki whispered and cautiously poked Thor's side with a finger, not wanting to upset his brother. He poked him again, fidgeting with the plush magpie in his arms.

Thor mumbled in his sleep, visibly stirring as he woke up. "Mm... Loki?" He mumbled and rubbed his eyes, sitting himself up a bit.

"M' scared..I dont like the noise," Loki spoke, his voice cracking softly as he tried not to be loud.

Thor lifted his blanket and patted the bed, inviting Loki to lay down. When his brother did lay down, he wrapped him into a tight hug and hummed.

"Yknow what dad would always do when you were a baby?" Thor said, smiling when Loki shook his head. Thor grabbed Loki's hands and rubbed each fingerpad, following it with a kiss and a "Mwah!" sound, eliciting giggling from Loki.

Thor worked his way down each segment of each finger till he made it to the palm. He rubbed both of Loki's hands together then pulled them apart, pressing a long kiss to both, rubbing them together, then placing Loki's hands onto Loki's cheeks. Thor than placed a small kiss onto his brother's lips while he cradled his face , rubbing his little brother's cheeks with his thumbs.

Loki was all red and giggly, squirming in his brothers arms. But alas, his brother was far stronger than him, so he didn't really get anywhere. Not that he would want to.

"I love you, brother.." Loki murmured and buried his face into Thor's chest, wrapping his smaller body around his brother's.

Thor smiled widely, kissing the top of his brother's head and one hand snaked around and played with his hair.

"I love you too, Loki. Forever and ever," he giggled, poking Loki in his sides to make him squirm and laugh again.

Thor eventually stopped his assault on his baby brother's stomach and ribs, rubbing his hand up and down his sides and kissing the spot on his cheek so much, there began to be a small wet spot.

Loki wouldn't trade any if it for the world, holding onto his brothers hand and grinning as he fell asleep in his brothers arms.

Thor knew that their mother would probably take a photo of them like this..Who wouldn't want to remember such a sweet moment with their two boys?

He also knew that he loved his baby brother so much, so much so, it hurt seeing him even slightly distressed. Frigga noticed this early on, and nursed it. Making Loki calm at the sight of his brother, scent of him, or even his voice.
