I can't even say I missed you anymore though I want to. God knows I do, but harsh words exchanged hurt so much, and distance flows with time. The essence of you is sorely missed by this soul you once touched with your hands, and the hopeful imagination constructs what the heart wishes for you, though I know not what your life is now.  I hope you are well, that you breathe easily, and that the days are soft and kind. I wish for you never-ending smiles and the realization of all your plans. You live on, in memory etched as you are in heart. You may be far but never lost from my thoughts. So much I wish I could say, but I find not the words. I wish you knew, like you did once, without words, what lies in my heart.
