Of course Captain Marvel is cocky, She was practically raised on a different planet and had gotten a personality from their beliefs just like Thor when he first arrived on Earth. As far as she’s concerned the way she acts is normal and the longer she spends time with people on earth the more she’ll be like them, just like Thor.

This is a very bad take indeed. Captain Marvel is not cocky cause she’s coming from an alien culture lmao, she’s cocky cause she’s Carol freaking Danvers. It’s not some temporary flaw that she gets to overcome, it’s a core trait of this character’s personality and Carol fans love her for it. Even if I can see how OP is coming from a good place, Carol doesn’t need this white-knight-ing. She has nothing to prove to y’all.
