Anyway, Eliot Waugh is also one of the bravest, truest, kindest characters and I’m still mad that, rather than getting the shot at true love he deserves with a well-developed, multi-dimensional main character, he’s likely going to end up shoved together with some last-minute introduction with zero personality, brought in only to be Eliot’s Boyfriend.

I’m still so angry. They killed our fandom. They killed our representation. They destroyed a beautiful story of soulmates.
They broke my heart
a thrilling saga
“Quentin Coldwater was a mender. He spent almost all of his life believing that he could only break things, but never stopped trying to fix them anyway. He was only starting to realize his power to heal – the things that were harming his friends and his world, but also himself after a lifetime of pain and sadness – when his journey was cut short. But we haven’t been. The Magicians’ audience has been disappointed by the thing that they loved, but in both fandom spaces and in concrete ways in the real world, they are fighting in every way they know how to in order to fix what’s been broken. In light of their radio silence and their lukewarm apologies yesterday, the only question I have for the show’s writers is: are you sure that you’re trying to do the same?”

Things I want released:
The dummy scene
Deleted scenes from 3x05
A statement where Sera Gamble and John McNamara acknowledge what they did wrong
The difference between the last time Eliot got to see Quentin and the last time Quentin got to see Eliot.
This, these faces right here is why we’re upset about the writers dangling the potential of Queliot in our faces just to rip it away in the cruelest possible way.
It doesn’t need any more explanation than that, their faces say enough.
"It's an unexpected — and dangerous — misstep for a show that's always been so cognizant when dealing with issues of mental health. To suggest that a kind, gentle, and, yes, depressed man only realizes his life is worthwhile after he dies, or that his journey had nowhere left to go? It's irresponsible and downright chilling." damn this article hit, go popsugar
Ik!!!! I rlly enjoyed it and thought it was very eloquent and put a lot of my rage/issues into words, these parts also Hit:
This
Teamwork
The most iconic moment of the episode
Literally one of the few good moments
Okay but also - they know that the underworld is real?? And that they can go there? They've brought dead characters back to life before? Quentin spent a whole load of time to bring back Alice, Kady did the same for Penny, and we're supposed to believe that no one gives enough shits about Quentin to do it for him? Not Alice? Not Eliot? Not Julia? Who literally has some sort of connection to the Lady Underground or whatever?? 5 seconds in and they're ready to grieve and let go - coolcoolcoolcool
i mean i think quentin coming back now is only about sera not being stubborn anymore and realizing she made a mistake
This this this this this
Its all on Sera now to tone down the pride and reach out to Jason
We need to bombard her as a fandom

hmm im gonna confess my own happy little fantasy right now ready? okay, good
Sure , okay. I hate it, but Quentin dies, and meets Penny 40 in the underworld, and they do the Secrets to the Grave thing. Whatever. It’s bullshit. Penny takes him to the campfire, and Quentin sees his friends mourning him. A catastrophic wave of emotions watches over Quentin and he feels like he can’t breathe, which is weird, as a dead man.
He knows this is the moment he’s supposed to be grateful, watching how deeply everyone is mourning him. He’s sure not everyone gets this perk, but he happens to have an in with an Underworld employee. He knows this is supposed to give him the peace he needs to move on. But he stops, shakes his head, and turns to Penny.
“I’m not ready,” Quentin says.
Penny raises his eyebrows. “What?”
“These people love me. And I love them.” He turns back to his friends, sees Margo and Kady and Alice and Julia, poor Julia, his best friend, barely holding it together. He sees Eliot, his Eliot, alive and well and Quentin wants nothing more to grab him by his vest and pull him close. To hold him and cry into his shoulder and confess his love all over again. To say he’s sorry for leaving him all over again. To swear to never leave him again as long as he lives.
“Quentin?” Penny asks. Quentin makes up his mind. He’s never been so sure of anything in his after life.
“I’ve got more fight in me. This is not how my story ends.” He watches all of his friends throw his memory in the fire, singing this stupid fucking song, and looks at Penny.
“I want to live.”
Penny smiles at him, and claps his hand on Quentin’s shoulder. “There’s the nerd I know,” Quentin’s eyebrows shoot into his hairline and his mouth opens but before he can say anything, Penny continues. “I’m not technically allowed to do this, but I’ll make an exception for an old friend,” Quentin chokes back a sob. Penny hugs him, and then shakes his hand. “I better not see you for another few decades, Coldwater,”
Quentin blinks, and Penny’s gone. Quentin isn’t sure that it actually worked and that he’s actually back but he can smell the fire and feel the wind. He turns back to his friends, who are so caught up in their singing (why did it have to be this stupid song) and staring so dramatically into the fire that they don’t look at him, if he’s even there at all. Quentin holds his breath. He watches, heart crushing into his chest, as Eliot pulls out a peach. Eliot kisses the peach and throws it into the fire and Quentin knows this is the moment.
“Peaches and plums, motherfucker.” Quentin says, loud and clear.
Eliot’s head snaps towards him, eyes wide. Everyone stops singing, and Quentin can feel them holding their breath, can feel all of their eyes on him, unsure if he’s really there. But Quentin isn’t looking at them. He’s staring dead in the eyes of Eliot, his lifetime love, his soul mate, his plum. Quentin smiles.
“I’m alive out here,”
That’s how it happened, right?
Yes please. Someone fix this mess!!!!!!!
Mourning
I’m literally in mourning over a fictional character and it’s ridiculous what they’ve done to us all
I can’t get by this.
I also think I may be done with the show after this- which is just another tragedy because I loved this show.
My life is stressful. I watch fantasy to escape the reality of pain and loss. So thanks for taking that away
