What is Bridgeport?
Some branches just don’t grow straight, no matter what you do // All families have branches of the tree they wish that they could prune
This blog is part of a fantasy horror worldbuilding project related to some writing projects I currently have in the works. The overarching title for the project is Stigmataverse.
Bridgeport is a location in that project: specifically a modern college town located deep in the mountains of Appalachia, where the magic is strange and the people are stranger.
You’ll see a number of recurring characters referenced in the posts on this blog, a number of park rangers, students and townspeople.
Rose is a young witch with a dark past and a family tree whose malevolence touches everything she does.
Kieran is a ranger-in-training who has been on her own since her teens, and has never encountered a fight she won’t take head on.
