What fandoms do you write for?

Doctor Who mostly, some Harry Potter, plus the occasional blitzkrieg where inspiration strikes.

What is your favourite Doctor/companion to write?

My long-standing obsession is Fourteen/Rose—I love exploring their dynamic with a wearier, softer, more mature Doctor. Ten/Rose is for when I'm in the mood for something harder and more guarded, and I'm on a personal mission to rewrite Thirteen's arc out of frustration with the canon treatment of her.

Are there recurring themes you've noticed in your writing?

Love and time. Vulnerability and control.

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I was about to say Canon Divergence in the DoctorRose Marathon, but then I recalled that I have written Dream of a Storm

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I write because I want to see them happy, so...basically all my longforms, and most vignettes too. But I sure don't make it easy for them to get there.

What's your favorite all-time ship?

Probably Han and Leia (the sequels never happened)

Do you write smut?

I enjoy reading it, I enjoy writing it.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Comments are a joy and I always respond, be it with a simple Thank you. I only find it a bit annoying when a comment is clearly just dishing out false praise to fish for commissions, and that happens more often than I'd like. But those times a comment revealed a kindred spirit more than make up for it.

Do you get hate on fics?

I think I'm far too niche for that. But once I had a hilarious incident with a guest comment claiming I'd been reported to the police over a T-rated vignette.

What are your writing weaknesses?

The fucking haste. When an idea strikes, I have to get it over and done with in the shortest possible time. Then I regret it after posting, like "Yeah maybe here a couple of paragraphs instead of this single sentence wouldn't have hurt".

First fandom you wrote for?

Posted, Doctor Who. But as a teen I wrote a story with Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes which was clearly fanfiction even though at the time I didn't know. Look, I'm ancient.

What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Thirteen ways to fall is giving me trouble at the moment, but there are scenes further down the line that I've already written and I'm absolutely in love with, so I must get to those. And I will.
