i think regina would actually really like the fact that the evil queen was disney’s first villain. and i’d think she’d secretly want to use this to her advantage. like whenever they were dealing with some villain, a small voice in the back of her head would go “i’m literally number one” she doesn’t tell anyone this until one day zelena stumbles across afi’s list of 100 heroes and villains and learns that the wicked witch is #4 whereas the evil queen is #10. this becomes something they regularly use in arguments. everyone in the family feels the air leave their lungs the first time zelena says it. henry considers moving to spain.

i know everyone has quaritch as the sub in the relationship/bedroom but having actually seen the movie, i don't feel that's really the case. like quaritch points out, varang doesn't actually want a submissive little pet. she wants an equal, a man, someone who can match her in every single way. in fact, i don't think she would've liked him if he was submissive. the moments she seems most intrigued by him is when he meets her head on. when he shows strength, power, control. that's what makes him attractive to her. she's so used to dominating everyone that when he snarls back, when he shows he's not just going to crumble at her feet, that he can fully meet AND match her crazy, she's like oh. oh.
