And for you non-swedes out there who wonder WHY this happens, here’s an explanation:

In some places in sweden, such as Flogsta in Uppsala and Lapis in Stockholm, a lot of students lives in the same neighbourhood.

Depending on the season, of course, there are a lot of studies and exams coming up, so every day at 10pm, the students go outside to their balconies(if they have one) and more or less just cry out their angst and frustration due to all the exams coming up.

It quickly became a tradition that still lives on. i’ve joined some of these shouts myself just for fun, and it’s actually quite a nice way to altogether just shout out all the stress for a minute or two.

I actually wrote a college paper on California's High Speed Rail. It's a disaster. $55 billion still unfunded, projected cuts to education, disjointed routes, detrimental environmental impact if ridership is low, shared trackage with existing lines, etc. High speed rail works in Europe & Japan because the routes are level, short, & straight, between two major cities. In the US, it would require steep grades, sharp turns, & long miles to cover. It would just be regular rail due to physical limits

This may seem really crazy to you. But my name is Alaska. I went to school in destin Florida, and then I transferred to a school in centre Alabama. Everyone's always told me to read this book because they felt like I should. I was curious to know is there anything more behind this book than what you've said. It's just crazy how the boy goes from fl to al and there is a girl named Alaska in it. And as far as i know I'm pretty much the only Alaska in this world. Lol.

I’m going to recommend that you not read the book, actually.
