Still living in recovery from alcohol (299 days as of today) & I’ve been taking my meds for my mental health

It’s not easy to be successful or accomplished. It comes at a great cost. My greatest success has been my academic achievements, but they have come at a great cost. Being successful in school or college really isn’t about being the smartest. For me, it’s been about time management, creativity, determination, and perseverance. Those things are costly. It is draining to constantly have to plan every move, persevere through things all (literally) the time. At some point, you do get tired of always making everything work. It costs a lot of energy. It costs you time with friends and family. It costs you time to enjoy yourself and just smelling the roses.
