So, the State Department just did one of the worst things they could do, something that horribly, a lot of people have wanted even on sites like this
If you look up travel safety from the state department, it no longer is for LGBTQI. Instead, it is LGB. Here's the problem, besides the fact you can't have some of us without all of us
Just LGB cuts out so many fucking people. It's not just transgender people or nonbinary or genderfluid or any other identity that are cut out. You just cut out intersex people. You just cut out 2-spirited people. You cut out people who identify as queer, which plenty of cisgender people do!
Queer can be an easier term then trying to label everything properly, especially if you have many microlabels. If I was asked for how I identify, I would just say queer since it's easier than trying to explain how I'm an asexual demi-aromantic omni person.
Which back to who you cut out
You just cut out asexuals. Aromantics. Agenders.
You cut out everything but 3 fucking groups of people. And here's the thing. Your next to be cut out. Have you ever heard the poem First They Came by Pastor Martin Niemöller?
"First they came for the Communists
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And there was no one left
The point of that poem is to explain that if you do not speak out, they will get to you and no one can save you if everyone else is gone.
So to every fucking "LGB without the T" fuckers, let me ask you something. Do you know your rights to marriage are in question? It is now being asked upon the Supreme Court, an extremely conservative Supreme Court. 6 to 3 in fact. They are being asked to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges. If you don't know what that is, that is the case that legalized same-sex marriage.
35 states have laws in place that can go in effect to ban same-sex marriage. You are not safe and free from them because you cut the rest of us. Instead you'll find that if there is support to not overturn it, it won't be for your benefit. It'll be so less queer rights are being stripped, one's you guys are helping to.
This isn't just the allo cishets faults. This is you exclusionary LGBTQIA+ faults. You guys will be responsible for when rights are taken. No one else's.
Congrats, you just set us back over 30 years. Fuck you guys, your all gonna get what you deserve
