i've gone into three different cafes this week that we're all playing songs from death cab for cutie's transatlanticism. it is 2026. why am i being haunted.

new job update: cried every day after work for the last 8 weeks. crying right now!

i had three lamb chops, a block of red leicester and a bottle of bubbly for dinner last night like a gout-ridden king of olde. and i would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the meddling acid reflux!!!

listen i know what i'm about to say is out of touch and complaining about my great upwardly mobile life so please forgive me in advance, but the worst thing about buying a house to renovate is people always want to pop by to see the progress, which means it has to be tidy, which is impossible because it's a renovation and dust is everywhere all the time, and i can't even outsource this tedious job to a robot vacuum because the house is split over three levels so i'd have to buy three of them!!!
