Gucci’s latest campaign for Cruise 2017 show us the face of Tom Hiddleston photographed by Glen Luchford for the tailoring. This Gucci gentleman creates a sense of nostalgia, I can clearly picture my grandfather “Antonio” sitting on that beautiful green velvet couch. Alessandro’s vision of gentlemen introduce a thin line between feminine, refine, classic and full of courage man not in a “macho” sense but more in a “reset aura of pure refinement”. Not everybody has the courage to fill the shoes of such delicate gentleman.

Nicolas Ghesquière continues to use architecture as a strong statement and inspiration in it’s creative process, reflected in the collections (for LV and previously in Balenciaga), new bags and campaigns.

The campaign let us feel and embrace details from the Italian culture, every single element portraits traits, and lifestyle of the culture. Naming the campaign as #ItaliaisLove a huge part of the brand’s DNA the message is clear and yes it seems that Italy welcomes everybody with big arms and fun.

This series 4 message campaign relies on the heroines topic and having the participation of Jaden Smith only talks about the evolution of gender equality where we can see a straight man wearing womenswear, this is not only a voyage of digital, and emerging new markets but is a conquest of freedom in terms of equality, something that the fashion industry is embracing everyday more and more. The next curation is from Juergen Teller with the new LV’s muse Doona Bae, the Korean actress exemplifies the pursuit of a new market that is Asia, the dedication for this whole piece embrace the new collection with blue skies and pink smiles, introducing it also with a video.

For Louis Vuitton Series 4 I’ve decided to dissect the whole campaign by the three curated series artwork of Juergen Teller, Bruce Weber and Tetsuya Nomura & VW of Square Enix. Starting with the image of Lighting from Final Fantasy was the first to come out for the fashion campaign a surprise that is was really clear for this new digital era, and that LV in my opinion made a huge step for a luxury brand in terms of aesthetics and proposition, I just can imagine how gamers will feel when their heroine wears a high fashion brand for battle! Genius!, some people might not understand but this is the right call not only for the digital era but for this whole new emerging market, very risky but very accurate. For this SS16 campaign Ricardo Tisci gather again his gang of models that in this case portraits a beautiful but yet contemporary definition of love and family with a detailed poem by Anohi that illustrates the whole inspiration for the mood and message for this Givenchy’s season. An accurate approach that is beautifully done just by reading the poem you fell in love again and again, with a city scenario, this makes much richer the whole collection. Who doesn’t want to belong to love?  Introducing the campaign also with a video where there is a diverse series of speeches about love in different languages but again same meaning.

One of the first brands to present their SS16 campaign. Versace as we know their dna is all about sensuality with an impeccable Italian touch, this time they introduce a dessert kind of construction theme for the scenario with a well constructed styled man on the back, the brand bring to us again this universe of sensual hot summer!

The main idea of the campaign is to show a different way of experience the fragrance world where you can emerge yourself on a sea of scents that are so surrealistic and powerful. Communicating through an artistic perspective the campaign was launch through social media and official website also including an introductory video of the world of “Olfactories”

The perfumes are named after iconic garments created by Yves himself using the idea of “Women like men”. The fragrances are unisex with follows the latest premise of the brand “Women like men and men like women”.

The new campaign shows the actress Jemima Kirke in a really simple photoshoot where we can see the iconic products of the Maison products with it’s new creative director.
