I know that this year has been very hard for all the people in the world, we live almost a year with a pandemic in our normal life, how this has affected social relationships, mental health, emotions in our lives. But we can change this, I really miss going out and taking a lot of photos, but the health of my family and my close circle is super important! Sometimes I am not happy / motivated to write and make content, but I am working on it to share all the photographs that I have taken throughout these years. So here we are, this photo was taken at the Day of the Dead parade last year in Downtown Mexico City.

Hyphantria Cunea is a moth in  the family Erebidae Known principally for this larval stage, which creates the characteristic webbed nest on the tree limbs of a wide variety of hardwoods in the late summer and fall. 

After this explanation about the moth there are a history behind, so the last year i took this photo, the fall season was started and the leafs has falling, so i down upstairs and i see my house window, and my mother says !look at this kill it¡ and i said No mom why do you wanna kill it, it looks is beautiful, the moth was an amazing example of a Fall webworm they was so big, the normal size of them are 30mm and that i found was almost the double, you can admire the majesty of the nature in his maximum expression.

Hyphantria Cunea es una polilla de la familia Erebidae conocida principalmente por esta etapa larvaria, que crea el característico nido palmeado en las ramas de los árboles de una amplia variedad de maderas duras a fines del verano y el otoño.

Después de esta explicación sobre la polilla hay una historia detrás, así que el último año que tomé esta foto, comenzó la temporada de otoño y las hojas se cayeron, así que bajo las escaleras y veo la ventana de mi casa, y mi madre dice! ¡Mira! esto mátalo¡ y dije No mamá, ¿por qué quieres matarlo? Se ve hermoso, la polilla era un ejemplo asombroso de un gusano de otoño, eran tan grandes, el tamaño normal de ellos son 30 mm y que encontré era casi el doble, se puede admirar la majestuosidad de la naturaleza en su máxima expresión.

Something really incredible happened.

A few weeks ago something really incredible happened, one of my photographs appeared on the odicial Instagram page of the Trust of the historical center of the CDMX. I thought it would never happen, when I saw the post I didn’t want to believe, a photograph of me on a page used to preserve this beautiful and historic place that is the center of the CDMX. It had already been a few months and there was no answer, so I was disappointed and sad, but in the end the task was accomplished. It fills me with happiness and pride to see my photograph there.

Hace unas cuantas semanas pasó algo realmente increíble¡, una de mis fotografías apareció en la página oficial en Instagram del Fideicomiso del centro histórico de la CDMX. Pensé que nunca ocurriría, cuando vi el post no podía creerlo, una fotografía mía en una página utilizada para la preservación de este hermoso e histórico lugar que es el centro de la CDMX. Ya habían pasado unos cuantos meses y no había una respuesta, por lo que me sentía decepcionado y triste, pero al final se logró el cometido. Me llena de felicidad y orgullo ver mi fotografía ahí.

I took this photo with my phone, i loved the use of the wide angle lens it has, also the way it plays with the angles of the architecture of the downtown Mexico City.
