Tdiapt could've been good as a horror but I dont think I can part from the comedy aspects of the series. Like it just wouldn't be the same series at all if it was any other genre but just here me out
Likeeeee leaning into the concept of the demons looking human but there's still something not right about them. They still keep the cat-eye pupil and fangs (at least Maou does). I'm sure it's also a big adjustment period going between forms for the first time, I think realistically they probably would've been moving a little unnaturally for a few days.
The small details that naturally make you a little weary around them. They step a little too close into the uncanny valley. Also like, banger concept that if they feed off of fear and despair to just naturally have a very off-putting aura about them yknow?
Since their fake ages put them in their early 20's it's not completely out of the question why these guys have zero work experience. But they still seem a little too clueless about the world. Some random human goes on a deep dive and finds out that these people didn't even exist until a year or so ago.
The potential is there! It's there! Trust me
