  Shelda became a devoted follower of Mother Naturae in her younger years and never had any interest in having a partner.

She desperately wanted to become a mother and have a child of her own, but with no partner and no luck at conceiving in other ways, she went to fertility clinics and adoption agencies. Unfortunately, treatments did not work for her. Adoption agencies were reluctant to give a single mother an egg or grumpling. It would not go unnoticed that Shelda went to clinics so frequently that it was becoming well known there.

She began to lose her faith in The Mother.

“Mother, I’ve devoted my life to you…why do you punish me so cruelly?” 

One cold winter night Shelda received a knock at her door. Standing there was a young grump slightly concealed in the shadows holding something. “P-Please take this I c-cant-” A large round object was shoved at her. Before she could process the grump was gone and she was left….with an egg.

I’ve been thinking of rogue-like/timeloop kinda games and stories and applied it to Bugsnax! Basically the Journalist is perpetually stuck on Snaktooth island and isn’t as resilient as they are in the game. Any time they die, the Journalist resets to when they were on their airship heading to the island. And in the cases where they make it off the island with whoever they managed to save that time, as soon as the Journalist goes to sleep they wake back up on the airship to Snaktooth.

Gimme the fic where post game Snorpy and Chandlo work together to get Floofty to date someone! I want that fic!

I still have the feel Grumpuses are some kind of evolved seal creatures?. Specifically Leopard Seals, at least the one i like the most. Muppet looking murderous fluffy water dogs, with that big ass mouth, and those eyes, God fears them, and you should too.

They said ¨Wait no, let’s go back, we will terrorize the land instead¨, but decided to keep the big chomp chomp and toy-like eyes, but now got some arms and legs to hunt you better. Im not sure of how big they are, if human-sized, or much bigger (considering the calories of Bugsnax, more likely big bois)
