Like yes you could make the case that he could have brought them and just become a shell of himself on arrival; he doesn't care about his appearance anymore; can't look at himself in the mirror; he's too busy overworking himself to distract from his constant anxieties that all he can do at the end of the shift is fall into bed and black out; basically is living like a prisoner which is hella ironic etc. but hear me out: the former is funny. It's just too goofy.

I finished it! It took me a good part of the day, and like, I'm super proud of it! Now I'll have to work on a little story and everything else… it's going to be really funny (except for him, we're clearly here for the drama and the tears).
