heres the official synopsis from the creator!

Set after the war, RUNNERS follows a young warlock who refuses to use his powers for violence. But when he returns home to a City now ruled by a stricter Consul, he quickly finds himself framed for the murder of a civilian. Now, he’s being hunted by the universe’s most celebrated Guardian: the Chosen.

(and a side note from me, there's also some destiny VAs getting involved! it's been an ongoing project for six years now so it's going to be massive and personally im very excited)

RUNNERS is an animated series inspired by Destiny, a universe I grew up with and believe I can reimagine. The project is being created entirely through traditional animation and motion capture, with no generative AI involved. If you’re an ANIMATOR, ARTIST, or VRC avatar designer interested in contributing, I’d love to hear from you. I’ve been quietly working on this project for over six years, and I’m excited to share more soon.
