This is so sad Animal Crossing is supposed to BE the no-pressure game 😭 Like i am also amazed by some of those gorgeous “aesthetic” islands like they’re so well made and I can understand your tastes changing over time but…not like this man 😭 Please at least get into the Sims or minecraft or something where there’s a dedicated creative mode and playing with an aesthetic can be a quick exercise and not like…destroy hours of your previous diary-like gameplay Q-Q i dunno man i just cannot imagine playing this way

but man it’s sad to hear people burn themselves out on this…or delete their whole islands when I see the game as almost like a living daily journal……or that people feel bad because it’s not 100% matching an aesthetic or whatever - Like man if you can’t decide a theme, it’s okay to have an island where you have one aesthetic on one side and another on the other half or something! Different little sections of the island! It’s okay to just play the happy home designer mode obsessively like i do to get that creative itch….IDK it just hurts to see because animal crossing is not a game that respects your time when it comes to this….and that’s partially because it wasn’t really designed around this either!!

  Yeah its kinda sad to see when people get discouraged from playing or hate their island. That they compare their island to others. But idk if its all social medias fault but this game did also seem like it went more the direction of being a decorating sim more than the past games that felt more laid back simple life sims.
