one of the most ๏ฟผfrustrating parts about sakuraโs character development is that we got to see her grow as a person.we even watched as she began reaching her goals. then sasuke comes back and she reverts back to her hyper obsessed child self and it honestly feels like character ๏ฟผassassination. he doesnโt love her and itโs very clear how she is still in love with him.i really wish as we see her grow and develop as a person she would have left behind her obsession with sasuke and instead started loving him in a more genuine way. for example her wanting the best for him and recognizing thatโs wasnโt going be them together as couple despite how much she wanted that.how impactful it could have been to see as she grows into herself and ends up coming to the realization that she would be okay in the end because the man she loves would be happy. i feel like them ending up together undid so much of her progress as a character considering the fact that he still doesnโt love her and at this point either she doesnโt care or is deluding herself. (not to mention he doesnโt seem happy in his marriage at all) after watching the entirety of naruto it is so clear to me that the only person sasuke cared about was naruto (of course he loved and cared for his family too but they are unfortunately dead)๏ฟผ thatโs why he tried to kill naruto time after time and to do away with their bond. (yes he did also try to kill sakura but only after she attacked and tried to kill him) he didnโt care about killing sakura in the end because he didnโt really care about her. he had no bond with her. iโm convinced sakura to an extent knew he wasnโt going fall for her and thatโs why she pushed hinata and naruto together. this is such an incredibly selfish move on her part. when it comes down to it if she really cared about naruto and sasuke why didnโt she let them figure out their feelings for one another and refrain from meddling in either of their love lifeโs (even if you donโt ship then you can not deny the deep connection they have with each other and that if one of them had been a girl they probably would have ended up together canonically) just as I was starting to like sakura her character was done dirty. i dislike her so strongly because she had the potential to be such a great character and then in just a few episodes all that possibility was gone.
