Jinori waved him off and shook her head. āTomio was in a different league than me. I love humans too much to do what he did.ā She said, chewing on her bottom lip carefully. She didnāt want her lips to start bleeding againā¦Mitsuru wasnāt very careful last nightā¦
Jinori cocked her head back and forth as she swung her legs lazily underneath the table. āTrue, it is no fun. Say, doesnāt your talent pertain to writingā¦? Youāre the ghost writer, correct?ā She asked, showing genuine interest in the talent. Jinori was always jealous of someone who could come up with such fabricated stories to capture attentions or heartsā¦
He laughed, that is true, no one is quite in Tomioās league. Tomio was really something else. āYou could still take his role, but not necessarily be him, you know? Tomio was on another level, no one could be quite like him.ā
He nods, smiling. āThat I am, I believe some of the books Iāve helped write are in this library actually. I recognized a few of the titles.ā
Jinori agreed whole-heartedly. Sure he was an ass and called her a whore, but what else was she. She didnāt hold it against him anymore. āThat is true. Itās strange to think that heās actually gone.ā
Jinoriās eyes wandered around the immense library before blinking. āWowā¦that is some talentā¦ā She said, taking a stand and walking towards the bookshelves. āWhich ones have you helped write?ā
āMm, well heās gone so thereās not much we really can do about it now. Whatās done is done. Perhaps weāll get out of here soon, yeah? Or one person at least if they play their cards right.ā He tilts his head, bangs falling to the side and uncovering his right eye. His eyes followed her as she got up, turning his bed then his full body to see her.
āMmm, I believe I saw Starshine somewhere among the books. I wrote a few paragraphs and proofread the whole thing.ā
