{{  i’m no good at keepin’ on 2 blogs consistently.  whoops.  haven’t really had the energy to be on Tumblr at all for like the past 4 days or so?

needless to say,  anytime i’m here i’m lookin’ for temporary stuff ‘cause i’m bad at keeping up with drafts.  am i gonna reply to a few??  probably.

                                Hunter nods, glancing at Lavi quietly. For a moment, he almost falls for the bookman’s charade of being an airheaded fool, too bright and playful for a holy war. But his training as a CROW picks up more on that, he cannot see past this young man’s mask, but he can see the very edge, knowing something  lays beneath it. His guard remains up, despite this man before him being an ally in this hellish war.

                              ❝ Pleasure to meet you, Lavi. My name is Hunter Stirling, I look forward to it, should we work together. ❞ He speaks, turning the page quietly.

        ❝  OOHH there’s no DOUBT that we will!  ❞

                            Especially considering the fact that the Exorcists are now    SHORT - HANDED    since Rhode had gone on her Exorcist Hunt a while ago to find The Heart .    At this point it’s all hands - on - deck .    Setting his elbows on the table as he inspects the other ,    the redhead whistles a short tune .

        ❝  how long you been here,  Hunt?  ❞

He’s awake as usual shortly before the sun rises. Right now he meditates as the birds are chirping outside lively and for him this is a sign enough that there is no threat at all incoming by Akuma. A short smile appears on his lips as he checks if their clothing had dried enough so that they can continue to travel and hears the complaint of the redhead.

“This isn’t my jurisdiction, Usagi. So get up on your own, before I actually have to use Mugen“

        ❝  why’re you bein’ mean?  i JUS’ woke up!  ❞

                            The redhead props himself up on his elbows on top of the stiff and thin pillow ,    body    ACHING    as well as his    NECK    as he groans and scratches at his head .    Feeling like he isn’t even being given ten minutes to reel himself out of slumber ,    slowly his hand grabs the sheets to toss them off as he sits up to stretch and then make his way to the restroom .    Lavi is later out after twenty minutes ,    fully dressed .

                  as lavi queries, allen continues to survey the people here today. it’s been a long time since he’s been here. given the amount of places he’s traveled, one would think he’d start to forget places like these. however, it’s the opposite; allen’s kept better track of his master’s finances than the man himself has, meaning allen is forced to remember the long laundry list of debts. suffice to say his memories aren’t very fond – even if it’s just a park ( but the people make the place, and the people here aren’t very nice – especially when they’re expecting payment ). 

                          “ well, it happened to be in the area … which isn’t an uncommon occurrence when it comes to places that master … owes … ” his voice falls, softening as he recognizes someone, someone that couldn’t have forgotten about the apprentice with the scarred face and disfigured arm. before they can exchange glances, allen grabs lavi’s arm and drags him in the opposite direction. 

                         for some reason, people seemed to think that master and apprentice shared finances ( like hell he’d let cross anywhere near his money; he’d die before using his own money to fill the hole cross dug for himself ). it wouldn’t be the first time someone approached allen expecting payment … though he has been saving up for the purpose of taking care of that debt. that doesn’t make it any less annoying when people act like his master’s debt is his responsibility. 

                         “ — ah … sorry about that, i recognized someone that would be especially eager to see me, ” he’s already sized everyone up and could probably take them in a fight, especially if lavi backed him up, but it’s not like he wants to do that. he just wants to make some quick money and continue on his way. “ of course that man would be a regular for so long … master never makes things easy for me, ” he rambles, frustration overtaking any anxiety he had moments ago.

                            Ever since seeing Allen on the train with Krory ,    he never thought that he’d be    THIS    worked up over debts that Cross breeds faster than rabbits .    After seeing that    DEVILISHLY CLEVER    side to the silver - haired teen ,    he should’ve    FIGURED    that something like this would happen as he covertly glances about to thankfully realize that it’s really only very    FEW    pairs of eyes that follow them ,    and in some cases he’s fairly sure that they’re watching them for how much they    BOTH    stand out .    He hadn’t been    ALONE    with Allen like this since near the    FIRST    time they’d met ,    realizing as he discovers how Allen is now .

                            Making no efforts to avoid being strung along to avoid a pin - stripped - suited man    [    who would no doubt NOT be lost in the crowd    ] ,    the redheaded Junior Bookman has a    SHARP    gaze set on the back of Allen Walker’s head when he knows Allen is paying him no mind ,    neutral expression returning as they come to a halt .    He listens closely about Cross ,    mentally picking apart what it is that Allen has to say about the mysterious and    UNCOUTH    man .

                     A    TRULY    odd pair .

        ❝  that guy’s GONNA show up again.  ❞

                            As unfair as it is ,    Lavi    DOES    find it amusing that the shorter male has to work so    HARD    like this .    For    ONCE    there is a human unlike any    OTHER .    It’s too easy that Allen isn’t the    CUTE BOY    that everyone takes him for .    A large hand reaches out to dust off invisible dirt from the other’s shoulder before leaning his arm on the same shoulder .

        ❝  wanna give ‘im a run for his MONEY?  ❞

                            Lavi knows this place better than the very    BACK OF HIS HAND .    It’s no coincidence that Helen ventures between two bookshelves and Lavi is right on the   other   side .    Yes it’s true that he can’t be allowed to have emotional connections with other people ,    and while that may be true ,    it’s a    NATURAL    human fact that people group up .    As much as The Clan    PRETENDS    they’re above that ,    it’s why Lavi unwillingly finds himself only a few feet across from the nurse ,    turning    JUST    as she pulls out a book .

                            It’s an    UNNATURALLY    hopeful smile that he’s not even    AWARE    is there .

                            It’s gone as soon as she shoves that book from whence it came .

Miya moves with the midday crowd, perhaps one of the busiest times of day on a weekend. As usual, she’s got an agenda–a list of places to go and things to get done now that she’s back in town after spending the past six months in Towada, Japan. Even with ice blue eyes fixated on her phone ( and the hasty texts from her older brother ), she hardly jostles any passerby, effortlessly weaving between people.

There’s a moment in which someone catches her eye as her gaze raises from the digital screen and adjusts the weighted backpack slung over one of her shoulders. Though, a hair color with such vibrancy would catch anyone’s attention. Her interest doesn’t last long, gaze returning to the phone in her hands. The only thought that lingers is the fact that a red that bright had to be from a bottle.

                            Talk about being    PRODUCTIVELY PROTECTIVE .    History majors aren’t something that the redhead would call    CHALLENGING .    His adopted grandfather ,    a World History professor at the university he’s attending ,    is all about filling up the redhead’s time because his Eidetic Memory makes schooling    TOO EASY    for him especially considering history is a lot about memorizing as well as studying events on your own to come to your own conclusion or finding your own clues .    The latter takes up time ,    the former does    NOT    hence the reason he wanders around the mall bazaar .
