This is a cloche hat in black wool made from a 1920s pattern. The black wool is medium weight. The upper brim is made of lovely brocade in an Asian pattern. The hat is great as it fits down low to keep your head warm. The brim can be turned up or down and is quite darling in my opinion. The hat is lined in 100% silk charmeuse in black. This hat will fit roughy a 22" to 22 1/2" head size. The mannequin in the photo has a 22" head for reference. This hat is ready to ship!

This is a black cloche hat made with a vintage pattern from the 1920s. The black wool is extremely high quality with a lovely sheen and is manufactured in France. The upper brim is made of brocade in a lovely chinoiserie pattern. The hat is decorated with two vintage feather pom pons purchased from an antique feather dealer. This is a 1930s style beret made from a vintage pattern. The beret is made with a soft high quality wool in black with dark red flecks. The wool is a designer fabric and has a lovely sheen and drape. This is a men's Newsboy Cap made in vintage knit wool in a lovely dark red. The wool was purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue and has its original tag. The color is in the realm of cranberry, wine, oxblood, maroon. The wool has a nice drape as seen in the photos. The shape is a standard newsboy with 8 top stitched sections and a self covered button. The bill of the cap is reinforced with millinery grade plastic found in commercial hats. The cap is lined in high quality 100% cotton sateen. The color is deep black and the cotton has a satin finish. The interior is finished with a hand sewn grosgrain ribbon sweatband and label. This is a leopard pillbox hat I shaped over a lovely vintage hat block. The leopard felt is very high quality with a nap created by a long hair finish. The style seems very 1960s to me. I would wear it back on the head a la Jackie O.   The hat is finished with a flannel backed satin and a hand sewn grosgrain ribbon hat band and label. This is a women's straw hat made of hand blocked sinamay. This is a cute, lightweight style for summer. The hat is formed in three layers over a vintage hat block form. This is a delightful style, most likely from the 1930s.  The lightweight sheer straw is stiffened to hold its shape so it will not go floppy on you.

This is a fabulous 1930s straw hat that I purchased as a vintage millinery shop's merchandise. I steamed and reshaped that hat to its formal glory. The straw is in fantastic shape with a good crisp hand. The vintage feathers are truly remarkable. They are hand painted in white and gold and have their original tags from Paris. They are antique, but in great condition. Because they are museum quality feathers I would not wear them in the rain! I sewed a tiny band of vintage silk velvet around the crown. The interior is finished with a hand sewn grosgrain ribbon band and label. This hat is shown on a 21 1/2" head form. It will fit a 21 1/2" to 22" head size. Knit beret hat in indigo blue. This beret is knit in Woolfolk Luft yarn in Navy. The yard is 55% merino wool and 45% organic cotton. It is soft and chunky yarn with no itchy feel. The beret is so easy to wear and very portable. I wear one all winter and just pop it in my purse. When you need to wash it just hand wash in cold water and dry flat on a towel. This hat will fit a medium head size. The mannequin in the photo has a 22" head measurement. I can make this beret in other colors and sizes.

This is a men's Driving Cap made with vintage Herringbone Tweed in blue and white. The blue is a handsome grayish dusky blue. I believe this is Harris Tweed due to its 29" selvedge to selvedge measurement and its texture. The cap is hand made with top stitched seams.   The bill of the cap is reinforced with a millinery grade plastic found in commercial hats. The crown of the cap is hand sewn to the brim. The lining is a high quality silk cotton blend in black. The interior is finished with a hand sewn grosgrain sweatband and label. This is a women's cloche rain hat made with waxed cotton canvas in black. This is an authentic Australian waxed canvas. The fabric is non toxic and ages well, gaining patina over the years. The canvas is heavy and you can feel the wax in the fabric when you touch it. The topstitched band measures 1 1/2" wide. The interior of the hat is lined with washed 100% cotton sateen in black. This is a 1920s style cloche made with European linen in antique red. This linen has nice weight and body to it which lends itself well to this style. This particular batch is a bit heavier than usual, which I like even better! The vintage black wooden buckle is from an old store stock which was never used.
