This is a men's Driving Cap made with vintage Herringbone Tweed in blue and white. The blue is a handsome grayish dusky blue. I believe this is Harris Tweed due to its 29" selvedge to selvedge measurement and its texture. The cap is hand made with top stitched seams.   The bill of the cap is reinforced with a millinery grade plastic found in commercial hats. The crown of the cap is hand sewn to the brim. The lining is a high quality silk cotton blend in black. The interior is finished with a hand sewn grosgrain sweatband and label. This hat will fit a 23" head size which is a 7 3/8 in commercial sizes. I have more of this wool if you would like a different size. This hat is ready to ship!

This is a men's Driving Cap made with vintage Harris Tweed. This is a gorgeous vintage Harris Tweed in variety of grays, blue, red and off white herringbone weave. Amazing! As you can see in the final photo, this wool came with its original tag and label. This hat is handmade by me. The seams are topstitched and the bill is reinforced with a millinery grade plastic found in commercial hats. The hat is lined with a cotton and silk blend in black. The interior of the cap is finished with a hand sewn grosgrain ribbon and label. I can make this hat to fit your head measurement. To measure: Using a soft tape measure, go around head about 1" above eyebrows in front and include the largest part of back of head. Do not add to the measurement. This is a Retro style Driving Cap made with absolutely gorgeous vintage wool in gold and earth tone colors. This is vintage wool from the Clearbrook Woolen Mill which was in Clearbrook, Virginia. This is a medium to heavy weight wool in a houndstooth weave. The hat has a bill that is reinforced with millinery grade plastic found in commercial caps. The hat is lined in washed 100% cotton sateen in dark brown. The interior is finished off with a hand sewn grosgrain ribbon and label. I can make this hat to fit your head size.
