professional sports drafts are so tragic because they're like "What if we took the most talented or promising young talent of the year, and stuck them on the absolutely worst team in the sport right now in the hopes that this probably 18 year old will be able to dig this entire team out of the hole they're in" like some of these people are so talented and they just get sentenced to hell, and they see their peers who aren't as good as them winning more, and having more success because they go to teams that aren't as bad

so now we're okay with public humiliation as a form of teaching?

Is there any particular reason people have started referring to Al-Hashimi as Baran? Like I know that I personally call characters whatever they're reffered to as most in the show, so Robby, Langdon, Mel, Santos, Whitaker, Joy, etc., and I've seen most people do this, but there has been a rise in calling her Baran, and I'm genuinely curious why given that she is never referred to as that in the show.

Is it shocking that like the three most popular ships for the pitt are all white people? given the demographic of people watching, no. Is it disappointing? yes

Some of yall have never had a local celebrity and it shows. Like I don't see mel telling becca about langdon as proof of her being in love with him because you bet your ass I wouldve told my best friend about every single person I worked with. Like there was a guy who lived on our floor, and my best friend and I would tell each other about every time we SAW him simply because he was a george russell fan and so is my friend. We'd be like "Oh guess who I saw in the hallway for like .2 seconds as we walked past each other". Like we know that mel also told becca about robby, but nobody's saying that she's in love with robby. idk I just don't think its anything special that she told her sister, who is probably her only friend, about the people she met on her first day of work.

rewatching the pitt season 1 and.... I wanted so badly to root for santos in the csa case, it truly did feel a bit like a super hero moment. But I just can't stop thinking about what happens to that kid when her mom is arrested and she has to go home with her dad. Her dad who was just threatened by a doctor, who will not be there to protect her if he decides to take revenge. Yes there's a chance her threats work and he never does anything to his daughter again, but I can't help but feel there's an even larger chance of it backfiring spectacularily and him instead taking it out on his daughter who's only source of protection in that house has just been reported to the police.

I don't know if anyone will ever be able to understand or quantify the relief and joy I felt when it was confirmed that langdon kid no.2 was not in fact named millie. I dont know why, but I just despise that name and specifically in this context and it truly was a terrible experience having to see it everywhere for so long

the absolute irony of Santos blaming her supposed isolation(I say supposed because we haven't seen any evidence of anyone treating her differently) on langdon when she's had people tell her repeatedly that they don't like the nicknames she calls them, continues to call them those names, and has been told to her face that she has an abrasive personality. it's kind of beautiful to see the lack of self reflection and accountability
