OOhhh Hello vampyr!!!! I've got an ask??? 👀 And an akrk one at that!!!! Thank you so muchhhhh 🤩

Ok I've thought about this from time to time and I have to split my answer in two different categories. Because if we are going for canonverse, I have a very specific vision for this.

First of all, I believe TT has one movie theater equipped with a very old traditional film projector. Also, household usually are equipped with a telly, but it's not like the modern ones we own. (I like to think in TT technology is a bit weird, and while you have things lke gaming consoles and old computers, on the other hand television is not that advanced!) Why do I make this premise? Because in their little cozy house, Axel and Roxas own this old telly, one of those CRT ones with not-so-big square monitors and in black and white!!! So yeah imagine a tv that's not older than the 60s!

What do they love to watch? Well, definitely those old black and white horror movies because they spend the entirety of the movie laughing and throwing popcorns (that Axel definitely roasted) at each other. But! The time when they're really invested is when they watch mystery or crime movies and tv shows! That's by far their favorite genre! They're engrossed in the plot, racing to be the one who can solve the mystery before the detective on tv does. Usually is Axel the one who solves the crime and Roxas is alway baffled because 'how the hell did you know that?!' Oh but Roxas, you know Axel might not look it, but he's very cunning ehehe 🥰

Then, there are the rare times when there's this particular movie that Olette has suggested to them, one they would call a 'tearjerker', epic romantic dramas. They watch it sitting close to each other, Roxas resting is head on Axel's shoulder; maybe they're both under their favorite blanket holding hands and snuggling. No popcorns in this case. Axel is the one who usually cries, quite a lot from the middle of the movie to the end, because the story reminds him of what happened with Roxas, of the trials they had to go through. Those nights they spend a lot of time cuddling afterwards. Not their 'favorite' genre, but something they watch when the melancholy hits, to remind each other that they're fine, they're both there with each other, and they will always be together forever.

If we are talking AUs, I have many different scenarios. I either make Axel or Roxas the one scared of horror movies, for example. I can have a scenario where Axel's favorite movie genres are romantic comedies (Breakfast at Tiffany's is his guilty pleasure!) And they definitely love to spend an evening at the local theater to watch those big blockbuster movies. I can also think someone like Axel would be into art films and Roxas would be into old black and white niche movies.

My favorite scenario however is this one.

I imagine they are of last year of HS age or early college age. Maybe Roxas has just moved in town and he ends up being a part of this group of friends Axel's already part of. They immediately like each other and that's pretty obvious to everyone except themselves. One night the gang decides to go to the movies to watch this new splatter horror everybody talks about. Roxas really isn't into it, but he wants to spend time with Axel so he's a bit hesitant. But Axel reassures him that they're gonna sit close so he can help Roxas through the scary moments of the movie. They go to the movie, as promised, Axel sits next to him. Roxas feels really uncomfortable with the movie. And then, he sees Axel offering him his hand. 'Take my hand,' he says, 'so you can squeeze it everytime something bad happens and you won't be afraid.' And Roxas, heart fluttering in his chest, does just that. He grabs Axel's hand and they keep holding hands till the end of the movie ❤️.

So. I hope this answer is satisfying! I might have gotten carried away because holy shit this ask just came out of nowhere and made me SUPER EXCITED!!!
