then when we were ready to pay the bill my friend and i split our and had a coupon from last weeks trivia and apparently it split with an 11¢ difference and made a point to give that to me not my friend and i joked “oh so i’m your favorite?!”

i was starting to write the note with my number (was so nervous i misspelled dance twice) when he came up and said “so since im quitting, how do i get in touch with yall” and i asked “we’ll do you have a functioning phone number?” and he said yeah and i wrote a note with my number, then he had to go off and do his job. and our guy friend was itching to leave so we left without waiting to say bye and were talking just outside the door and i asked my friends “so do we think he likes me?!” and before they answered he came out and was like “you were gonna leave without saying goodbye?!!!” acting all hurt so we joked and said bye and when he left my guy friend said “well i think that answers your question, he wouldn’t do that if he wasn’t into you” so i drove off feeling SO confident he was gonna text… then he didn’t text that night or the next day so im thinking he just isn’t going to. and the options are either he’s just not interested and threw it away or my bruise ego was convinced he accidentally lost it and was heartbroken and surely i need to show up at his now job (but also wasn’t gonna do that because i don’t wanna be a creep if he’s simply not interested)
