The Nsuqatir language of the Ancient Ebhor had a few verbs for "to weave", one of them being "tok". Although usually clear from context, if one wanted to talk specifically about "the action of weaving" as a noun, they could use the language's grammar to derive the word "nemupel(ti)tok". That word got inherited into the descending Swädir language as "nemmyltok", but it became more obscure as the language changed and a new form of the word, "tokaðanda", replaced it, with the former one staying only as a rare word meaning "to organize something into a pattern". Skip ahead a few thousands of years, and the furry folks had invented computers. As they needed words for "writing computer code", they looked back upon their ancestor's language, as it is custom, and picked that old word for "weaving" - "nemmyltok", as they felt crafting computer software isn't so different from weaving cloth with intricate patterns. From that ancient root, they also picked another word for "software" - "duryttok", from "dürydtok", meaning "that which is woven" or "textile".
