Prettyboy paradise

Usually I tag by pairing but not by fandom. "Hetascribs" is for my art, "hetadribs" for my writing drabbles and "hetaquips" for the inbox, a hangover from when this was a hetalia blog.

She starts slow, making some cheeky comments about him or trying to distract him from his work, getting more confident until she's openly taunting him, practically demanding that he get physical with her. But Aqua has long gotten used to this kind of behaviour. He'll gladly trades insults and banter with his twin sis. Maybe roll his eyes and sass her out when she goes a bit far. But not once does he loose his temper or raise his voice. Ruby slowly realises that, as annoying as she can be, she simply can't crack her brother's interminably patient façade.

She's the first one to get bored, and with a parting jibe, she goes to find something more enjoyable to do. But before she's out of the room, Aqua is suddenly on his feet and beside her. One of his hands is on her waist, another holding her wrist with careful but unmistakable firmness. One look in his eyes and Ruby realises that he wasn't merely brushing her aside, he was trying his level best to stay calm. Now, he's not going to let her get away until he's carried out his revenge.
