First thing, I moved all of the pictures for bodyTachi to SmugMug. The bodytachi.com URL is directing there as well too. I wasn’t able to support the $20 a month for the squarespace site, but have found a solution that’s just as good! The adult themed pictures are there too, just hidden behind a password protected area. The password being bodytachi, all lower-case.

Been a lot busier than I thought I was going to be lately, so I’ve decided that I’ll also post the instagram pictures here. I’m finding that it’s easier to snap a few of these right now, but will find time to do a full “set” soon. PS I consider a “set” to be the ones where I take a picture of the pose from every angle turning the figure in a full circle (in case anyone was wondering what the difference is) The instagram photos are just a few shots of the same pose from maybe 1 - 3 angles depending on time and location.

Hi guys!

It’s finally happened, there’s a website to house all of the bodyTachi image references now. I will continue to update this tumblr with new photosets when I can make them, but they will also be uploaded to the website.

Some notes!

1. Adult themed pose references will only be posted to the site now since Tumblr keeps removing them.

2. I will upload photos here to this tumblr, but Tumblr may remove them, or they may get flagged or hidden so the site will be the most complete collection of the images.

3. I will still be posting when I can, and hopefully I’ll be able to post more often this year.

4. There is an instagram now that’s meant to just have really simplistic pose images that I will snap here and there. They will not be as complex with multiple angles like the photo-sets that take a lot more time to do.

5. There isn’t a new set yet as I was spending time putting up the site, but I will make a new set soon.

Hi guys, I don’t know if anyone’s wondering what’s going on or when the next update is - so I apologize for the rambling post in advance but here’s some insight. I’ll give each section a title so you can skip to the ones that matter.

TLDR version: - The blog is not being deleted - I suck and have been on hiatus forever - There will be new updates this year - I AM working on a website for the photos outside of tumblr - I’m not giving up on this

Why hasn’t there been any updates?

I wanted to write a quick note to say thank you so much for following the blog - and before anyone gets nervous - I’m not deleting it or shutting it down. I just wanted to apologize for the lack of posts and the lack of everything on my part. 2018 sucked for everyone and I was no exception. This blog was always meant to just be about being a support tool for artists and was never intended to be about me at all - so it feels weird making this post but I felt bad and still feel bad that I haven’t been making content for this blog. Every single time I’ve tried to get my act together and start a regular posting schedule, I’ve failed. LOL. Whether it was getting sick continuously, being depressed as hell or being laid off and then trying to find work - still trying to find work it’s just been ten thousand steps back for every step I tried to take forward, lol. I haven’t had the energy to work on this regularly, between trying to stay afloat in the meantime and find a new permanent job and just being depressed lol - I know, I’m pathetic and I suck. I’m sorry and I’m going to do my best to do better this year. When will there be updates? I am hoping to get some content up in the next two months. My goal is to at least get a set of photos up every two months or so. I know, that’s really lame but I’m trying to give myself baby steps because every time I’ve tried to push and do one set a day, or a week, or whatever I’ve just failed completely and felt like shit. There’s going to be a website Tumblr doesn’t make it easy to organize the photos into categories, etc and when I did the survey there were a lot of people who expressed interest in being able to view them on a website that’s optimized for multiple devices since a huge majority of people look at the pictures on their phone. I haven’t managed to put this together yet, but am working very hard to have this up before the end of 2019. I know, it’s an entire year, but again - trying to give myself some baby steps that I think I can accomplish.

So sorry, real life ate me again for a long, long time. I’m hoping to get back into the swing of taking photos and posting them very soon.

Happy New Year! (Part 2)

Here is the comparison of Body-chan to TR (Takarai Rihito Edition) Body-Chan (on the right). Same differences with the packaging as mentioned with Body-kun.

Oh! I forgot to mention that the DX set for both TR Body-kun and TR Body-chan came with new accessories. A mug, broadsword, shield, popsicle treat and legs to stick into the stand to make it a table. I accidentally dumped all the pieces out trying to open the box so I didn’t take pictures of them, but will use them in photos soon. (Hopefully soon)

TR Body-chan has a much thicker torso and body over all compared to Body-chan... but the most noticeable change is... her bust. I’m not sure how I feel about her gigantic boobs.

You can see in the last picture though that TR Body-chan can point her toes and her arms are easier to set into a more natural pose.

Happy New Year every one!

It’s been a crazy year, 2017. I’m hoping that 2018 will be less crazy and that we’ll have more time to post pictures.

Over Christmas I got the new Takarai Rihito Edition DX set Body-kun (on the right in the pictures except the very last one where he’s on the left) and Body-chan and wanted to take a moment to compare them with the other version of Body-kun that I’ve been using in pictures.

You’ll notice the packaging has changed from images of Body-kun to representative Anime art.

The Takarai Rihito Edition Body-kun comes with some new arm and leg parts for new arm and leg positions that were not quite possible before. Also hand options for poses where fingers are locked together.

The articulation is better on this newer model, but you can also see that the TR ( Takarai Rihito Edition) Body-kun is shorter now. His chin is also square, instead of pointy and he has abs for days.

He also has a more defined buttcrack when you turn them around, and more definition to his back muscles. TR Body-kun also has toes that can flex (together).

Despite their differences, Body-kun and TR Body-kun are going to be best of friends. Here they are, enjoying some fireworks.

Hectic Schedule

Hello! We’re kind of back. Apologies again for the long absence. Got super, super sick and then got super super busy. I was way too ambitious trying to post every single day, every single week so until things become more stable I will be posting as often as I can, but can not promise a consistent schedule, apologies in advance for that. Please feel free to message me with ideas and suggestions of poses that you’d like to see and I will attempt to get them done as soon as possible and the best that I can. I really am committed to trying to provide references for people who want to draw. I moved my photo set up to another room closer to a computer set up so that I can try and do more frame by frame poses in the future when I have more time to do so.

So, we’re kind of back and thank you for the messages and suggestions that have been sent so far!
