Calling all artists, animators, and fans of fun and useful pose references! In 2 weeks time I will be taking part in @adorkastock & Friends' MASSIVE Group Poses for Artists Shoot.
We've got a bunch of models of different sizes and shapes, more props than you can shake a stick at (including bows, a pole and a POOL), and two full days of shooting to get as many reference photos as we possibly can. It's gonna be awesome, and there will be some PHENOMENAL references coming out of this.
If you'd like to pre-order Photo packs, you have until the 25th October. Get them here:
A group of experienced pose reference models coming together with professional photographers for a weekend long epic group photoshoot to mak
In the meantime, as a taster, here are some of the photos from last time I collaborated with @null-entity (who's also part of this project!) Enjoy!
(You can find the rest of these sets in my Patreon Shop)

Will the six person group poses be posted on the tumblr page, or will they only be available for purchase?
I got some teasers from Blue today I'm so excited.
We are gunna have some absurd amount of photos from this shoot, easily over 500 images.
Some will be in themed packs for sale but LOTS and LOTS will go into regular rotation on socials and on my site gallery. And the other models from the shoot will also be posting stuff so check them out too!
As a reminder almost all paid packs are "early access" which means eventually they retire from the shop and go into public release. ♥

Hi everyone! I would like to share some resources that I have been collecting for over a decade. This includes everything from poses and anatomy, to useful tools, to folks who give great advice. Pretty much everything is free, though some have some paid options. Enjoy!
Teachers / Creators
Marco Bucci - Marco has tutorials on just about everything, from light and color to animation to anatomy. He is a fantastic instructor and has an amazing way of breaking down complex concepts.
Lighting Mentor - The king of light. Previously worked at Dreamworks, his video on color relativity (the power of greys) changed my brain chemistry. He has tons of videos on light and color.
Sylessae - Gives some of the best art advice I have ever seen on the internet. She is very down-to-earth with her advice. She's not showing you WHAT to learn, she's teaching you how to learn. No matter what you draw, you will be better for listening to her!
Speedrun adding a bunch of other people I don't have the space to add too many words for!
McLelun - Proko - Pikat - SamDoesArt - Toniko Pantoja
Human Poses & Anatomy
Magic Poser (web) - 3D posing software! The IOS version is far more fleshed out and includes a ton of extra features, but the web version also works great for PC users.
Pose Maniacs - library of 3D posed models, with more focus on the underlying muscle
Figurosity - Another library of 3D models, with more focus on body diversity
Line of Action - A great gesture drawing site. You can set the length of time for the session and for each drawing, and you can choose between nude or clothed models. This one is easily my favorite.
Human Anatomy for Artists - ⚠️CONTAINS NUDE MODELS ⚠️ a massive library of posed model references. You can filter by age, gender, body type, and even the types of clothes they're wearing. There's also a version of the site geared towards fem models
Quickposes - ⚠️CONTAINS NUDE MODELS ⚠️ Another gesture drawing website
Art Models 360 - Another massive library of posed models, this time each pose has multiple pictures from many angles! Very useful for figuring out how the form works.
Height Weight Chart - A photo library that lists peoples heights and weights. Very helpful for designing characters!
KingCholera - Tons of free 3D poses from multiple angles! (w paid options)
Animal Anatomy
Posable Animal Head Reference Library - Gives you a 3D skull to pose and control, and when you're done it will go through a massive library of images to find you one similar to the pose you want!

Coolors - the classic palette creator.
Adobe Color Wheel - Free (shocking, I know) web-based color palette creator for adobe. With options for pretty much every kind of color scheme and highly customizable, very useful!
ColorHunt - a ton of very eye-pleasing color palettes!
