Please join Data & Society for this talk by anthropologist Mary L. Graybased on her latest book, Ghost Work: How to Stop Silicon Valley from Building a New Global Underclass, a collaboration with computer scientist Siddharth Suri. Ghost Work is a necessary and revelatory exposé of the invisible human workforce that powers the web—and that foreshadows the true future of work.

Event Description: Chancey Fleet, a Brooklyn-based accessibility advocate, will deliver a talk on  the liberations and complications of using tech while blind. Her talk, titled “De-visualizing Technologies: The Joys and Friction of Blindness in the Digital Commons,” is presented by the Lehman College Disability Studies Program.
