My newest accvisition: SALT, a 42 ft motor yacht designed by Swedish/Danish Knud H Reimers in 1938. Built by Axel Eriksson at Gräddö varv, Norrtälje, Sweden.

A 1938 Swedish “Essboat” by Gideon Forslund, “Relda” is a 22 ft runabout with a -38 Ford flathead V8. When we made the barn find in may 2013, Relda had been stored away for more than 30 years. See the flatheads "first run" here! The father & son restoration was complete i early june 2014. This is a picture from the maiden voyage.

"Forslund's boatyard" (59°19'32.3"N 18°0'38.6"E) in the middle of Stockholm. In the 1930ies Gideon Forslund built his very succesful runabouts "Ess-boats" here.
